So here we are in Rexburg, Idaho. We moved in on friday night with help from some very kind neighbors. We love our ward and feel very welcome here with great people around us. We feel very excited to start this part of our life and do feel that we are where we are supposed to be. Boy is it a great feeling. We even went running this morning together! That is how happy we are! :)
Ryan starts his classes tomorrow and we are both excited for that at the moment--which is great. And, we have INTERNET! Woohoo! It's so strange how knowing that you can check email and look up addresses and google whatever you want is like freedom from bondage. It may not be the most high quality, but all we needs are the basics.
We miss loved ones but sure feel like we are doing what's best for us right now. Our apartment is tiny but very nice as well. Ryan commented tonight that he felt we were in a hotel. We have made the apartment livable and are unpacking boxes as we think of things we can't find. And BOY is it warm here! 78 degrees! Looks like it will be back down to the 40's on thursday. You can't win them all.
Here are some pictures in the first two stages of unloading
We had one of the best sundays we have had in a while and are so excited to change ourselves and become who we want to be together. And this is the place and time for it. We are determined to have a happy life together no matter where we are or what is happening. I am learning so much and have SO much to learn. Ryan is as amazing as ever and patient beyond all reason with me. The Lord has blessed us and continues to every day. And I'm not just saying that. BOY does He! Thanks be to Him for all we have and all we are. And to our families. I feel like I am writing an email or a eulogy or something so I think I will stop here. I'll get used to the blog thing sooner or later...
